In anticipation of our 50th anniversary in 2021, The Kitchen began a series of conversations among artists across generations who will discuss their work and their perspectives on the organization’s evolving role in the cultural landscape.
The first exchange in this series took place on February 15, 2020 between celebrated artists Dara Birnbaum and Sondra Perry, whose experiences with The Kitchen’s program span decades.
