To inaugurate its new space on West 19th Street, the Kitchen presented two nights of performance and media. In addition of performances given on site by over twenty artists, there were continuous video screenings from ICA London's Ugly Actions show, J. G Ballard, Cabaret Voltaire, and the Residents; Desire Repressed & Suppressed with Ed Rudolph, Dale Hoyt and Burt Barr; TNT episode #5 (Entertainment) including Julia Heyward, Joan Logue, Pat Hearn, Zbignew Rybczynki and others; plus Robert Wilson, Owen Land, and more.
